My name is Art Sampson, Concrete guru. I know what it takes to achieve
a uniform, quality exposed finish in freshly poured concrete. On any surface
formed or flatwork, I built my reputation on quality. I found myself always looking for
retarders to use, trying to get consistent results time and time again. Unfortunately
until now what's been available has been harsh chemical based coatings and chemicals with
less then desirable results. And strict placement techniques that are hard to control
in most environments. I designed our

Vertical
Etch
Retarder is a clear red liquid. It can be sprayed on any wood
material including Dura-forms and plywood, as it is fast drying it
only needs 5-20 min. to dry and be pour ready. Because
Vertical Etch is water based it won't stain or build up on forms or
surrounding environments unlike traditional paste retarders, and washes
up with water. Because its a sprayed
or sponge applied retardant there's no more painting and messing. Also
we are alcohol based and very safe to use. Vertical Etch is
available in 20 Liter pails and 205 Liter drums.
Surface
Etch Retarder is a blue
liquid specially formulated to make it
easy and safe to use with perfect results every time you pour flatwork. We've formulated an impervious membrane into our
horizontal retarder, this slows surface dehydration allows you to get a cleaner
wash. No cement on stones, easy washing and Perfect results without the
need to cover with plastic, preventing damage. Surface Etch is available
in 20 Liter and 205 Liter pails
Vertical
Gel Retarder
is a clear green gel that has been specially formulated to make it
easy to use on difficult form surfaces like steel and plastic, utilizing our
Vertical technology with special vertical cling properties making pre-casting
easy and safe, with perfect results every time you pour. Because
Vertical Gel is water based it won't stain or build up on forms unlike those
traditional paste retarders. Vertical Gel can be cleaned with water allowing
you to keep molds clean. Vertical Gel is available in 20
Liter pails.
